In brief, you should know the following about us: our Pro Shop was established in July, 2006 and has been providing outstanding service and products ever since. The REVIVOR's sole purpose is extracting oil from reactive and proactive bowling ball cover stocks. Drawing out the oil by the use of thermal reaction is a proven method of bringing back the original characteristics of the ball. The REVIVOR removes the oil with an even, digitally controlled heat pattern so as not to damage the bowling ball. Balls should have the oil extracted approximately every 40 to 80 games, depending on the lane conditions and the level of performance each bowler wishes to maintain. The absorption of oil changes the physical properties of the coverstock. When new, your ball has a coverstock free from oil contamination. With use, the coverstock becomes ‘coverstock + oil’. This new, oil- soaked coverstock has diminished ability to traction through oil and create friction with the lane, and diminished ability to respond aggressively to the dry boards on the lane. The REVIVOR will remove the oil from the coverstock returning your ball to a "like new" condition. We strongly recomend not baking your bowling ball in a kitchen oven, outside in the sun, or in your car due to the possibility of damage (cracking) to your ball.
